When WNDR Museum opens this summer, at 500 Washington Street in the Downtown area, it will come complete with a cafe, Manager Markos Doyle tells What Now Boston.
The cafe/lounge will be a “small component of the overall museum but will offer truly special snacks, sweets, and sips,” a spokesperson for the museum said in a telephone conversation.
WNDR Museum Boston is said to be an “experiential art attraction” that will occupy a “large-format space” on Washington Street in Lafayette City Center.
“Since launching in Chicago in 2018, WNDR Museum has become a must-see destination in our hometown of Chicago, and we can’t wait to welcome guests to our new Boston location later this year,” Ryan Kunkel, President of WNDR Global told What Now Boston.
“Designed to ignite curiosity, creativity, and childlike wonder in each guest that steps through our doors, WNDR is truly an awe-inspiring experience. Combining breathtaking art with cutting-edge interactive technology, WNDR is a museum that encourages guests to use all their senses to complete the art. As we like to say, ‘we are all artists,’ and none of the works throughout WNDR are complete without audience interaction. One of the works that we’re most excited to bring to Boston is Let’s Survive Forever, an infinity room by iconic Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama that is widely considered to be one of her masterpieces.”
