A New York-based dining concept that pairs lightning-fast food delivery with dishes from award-winning chefs is making its way to Massachusetts.
Wonder, a rapidly growing “fast fine” brand, will open its first location in the state this fall at 219 N Main St in Natick, taking over the former Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza space. The company currently operates more than 50 locations across eight states, with dozens more in development.
Founded in 2018 by self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur Marc Lore (formerly of Jet.com and Walmart eCommerce), Wonder has teamed up with some of the biggest names in the culinary world—José Andrés, Marcus Samuelsson, Bobby Flay, and Nancy Silverton among them—to bring a roster of chef-driven fare to neighborhoods across the country.
Describing itself as a “new kind of food hall,” the brand offers a first-of-its-kind ordering platform that allows customers to mix and match dishes from multiple acclaimed chefs and restaurants—all in a single order.
From pad thai by New York’s SriPraPhai to Southern-style fried chicken from Mississippi’s Mr. D’s, every dish is made fresh to order at a Wonder kitchen and delivered to your door in under 30 minutes. Pick-up and dine-in options will also be available at the Natick location.
“Wonder, a new kind of food hall, will open its first location in Greater Boston in fall 2025,” a spokesperson for the brand told What Now Boston. “We’re excited to become a part of the city’s unique culinary community. Through our first-of-its-kind multi-restaurant ordering feature, Bostonians will soon be able to satisfy all of their cravings in one place and make mealtime easier – with great food from the world’s best chefs and celebrated restaurants.”
