The Taste of Charlotte Festival 2025 will be held June 6-8 on Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte. The free event offers attendees the opportunity to taste local food, enjoy live entertainment, and participate in family-friendly activities. With more than 100 menu items and various performances, it celebrates the city’s vibrant food scene.

Taste of Charlotte Festival 2025 takes place on Friday, June 6, and Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on Sunday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The festival spans Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte, from Trade Street to Brooklyn Village Avenue. Festival-goers can taste samples of various kinds of food, enjoy live performances, and participate in interactive programs for all ages.

Artisan Marketplace and Community Hub

The festival features local vendors selling one-of-a-kind merchandise. The Truist Makers Marketplace features local vendors and artists selling handmade products such as candles, jewelry, soaps, and gifts. Local, regional, and state partners will provide information, coupons, and free giveaways on-site.

Over 100 items from regional restaurants will be offered at the 2025 Festival, making this one of Charlotte’s biggest outdoor food celebrations. Popular offerings include the 5th Sin Woodfired Grill’s Bacon Wrapped Petit Filet (4 coins), Bacon Wrapped Scallop (4 coins), and Bacon Wrapped Chicken (3 coins).

From 800 Degrees Latta Arcade, attendees can try Honey Badger Pizza Slice (4 coins), Margherita Pizza Slice (4 coins), and 800 Degrees Chopped Salad (3 coins). Aroma Indian Cuisine serves the following: Samosa (3 coins), Chicken Tikki Masala (4 coins), and Mango Lassi (4 coins). The menu includes vegetarian, gluten-free, and healthy options.

Live Music Stages and Interactive Cooking Demos

There are three stages featuring live performances and local acts throughout the weekend. Performances are scheduled across three stages:

  • Luzianne Tea Main Stage

Located at the heart of the festival, this stage will host

    • Friday: Doubting Thomas (11 AM – 2 PM), Joseph Gallo (3 PM – 6 PM), and the NC Brazilian Arts Project (6:30 PM).
    • Saturday: Cory Luetjen & The Traveling Blues Band (11 AM–2 PM) and the Party Panda Band (8 PM–11 PM).
  • Tavern at the Taste Stage

This interactive stage will host Blazin’ Keys Dueling Pianos playing Friday through Sunday, with performances from 11 AM to 11 PM on Friday and Saturday and 11 AM to 6 PM on Sunday.

  • Wine Cellar Stage

In this stage, acts such as Suite Strings CLT (Sat, 3 PM–6 PM) and Mazzi (Sun, 11 AM–2 PM) will be hosted.

In addition to the live shows, attendees can indulge in beverage tastings and interactive culinary demonstrations. The Wine Cellar and Tavern at the Taste provides wine and beer tastings and allows festivalgoers to sip their favorite drinks while enjoying live performances.

The Duke’s Mayo Demo Kitchen offers live cooking demonstrations over the weekend. Located at the heart of the festival, the Demo Kitchen features Chef Sammy, Chef Edwin Cruz, and Chef Jennie Casselman performing cooking demonstrations with the possibility of offering sample bites.

Tickets and Admission Details

Admission to the Taste of Charlotte Festival is free for everyone. Festival-goers can buy coins to taste food and drinks or participate in kids’ activities. A $20 tasting coin cup contains 14 coins. A $20 unlimited children’s activities wristband is available each day and will only be good for the purchased day. Coins can be bought on-site at several booths or online through the Taste of Charlotte App.

Taste of Charlotte Festival 2025 guarantees three days of food, music, and local culture on Tryon Street. The event has something special for everyone with free entry, more than 100 dishes, live acts, and a busy artisan market.
