New concept Amina is slated to open at 225 East Sixth Street, according to its website.
The spot will open as “an upscale fine dining restaurant in Uptown Charlotte,” according to its Facebook page. It will serve dishes paired with crafted cocktails in an elegant dining atmosphere.
Amina’s culinary offerings will be inspired by East African and Mediterranean flavors, and the space will feature some live music and DJ sets featuring R&B and house music, according to reporting by Axios Charlotte.
While an opening date has not been announced yet, the spot is expected to open before the end of the year.
What Now Charlotte confirmed the forthcoming concept with the ownership team, but a spokesperson was not immediately available to provide further details. An interview is forthcoming.
