Concord’s Christenbury Village is building their tenant list. Brixx Pizza is slated to join the development in a 2,454-square-foot space with a patio early next year, according to reporting by the Charlotte Observer.
Founders Eric Horsley, Jeff Van Dyke and Barbara Morgan opened Brixx Pizza in 1998 in Dilworth and now has 20 locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The menu features wood-fired pizzas, wings, pastas, salads, beer and wine.
“At Brixx, we bring people together for life moments, both big and small. We offer friends and families an opportunity to connect and relax, creating everyday memories in a casual, inviting atmosphere with attentive, personalized service,” the Brixx Pizza website states. “Whether you choose to dine with us in our restaurant or experience us on the go, you’ll discover a menu of unique craveable items. We also offer a wide range of local craft beer on tap, curated wines by the glass and spirits at our craft bar.”
The chain places emphasis on using high-quality ingredients and also offers vegan, plant-based and gluten-free options.
Van Dyke is also a partner in Boardwalk Billy’s Raw Bar and Ribs, which opened in 1998 and serves seafood items. Van Dyke is also part of the founding team behind forthcoming seafood restaurant Half Shell.
