Located in Charlotte’s Lower South End, the restaurant sits among some of the city’s most popular restaurants and breweries. The restaurant’s opening was originally scheduled for July 18.
Barrett Worthington, co-founder of Henrietta’s, said, “While we would have loved to open this weekend, we have had an unforeseen medical emergency with our team that has caused us to delay our plans.” The restaurant also shared the update via an Instagram post.
The menu blends classic flavors with seasonal ingredients to create a sense of comfort and nostalgia. Seasonal cooking, inviting hospitality, and well-planned design define the restaurant’s character.
Henrietta’s is the brainchild of the team responsible for Rally, a one-of-a-kind pickleball facility. Guests can expect a rotating, ingredient-driven menu served in a cozy, residential-style setting.
Evolving Seasonal Menu
Chef partner Andres Kaifer leads the seasonal menu, which highlights local ingredients and traditional techniques. Guests can also expect hand-selected wines and craft cocktails to go with their meals.

Henrietta’s centers its philosophy on seasonal cooking and creating memorable shared dining experiences. The inviting space blends classic techniques with a laid-back atmosphere, encouraging guests to relax and connect over a meal.
An emphasis is placed on the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients and food culture. A rotating menu means that the restaurant offers a changing selection of dishes that are always inspired by the current season. The rotating menu ensures that each visit offers something new, tailored to the season.
Henrietta’s will call guests who booked reservations based on the original opening date to reschedule. Others can make reservations via OpenTable.
