Chopt, the fast-casual build-your-own salad concept, is getting ready to open a new location in Huntersville at 8908 Lindholm Dr.

The restaurant is one of three new dining concepts planned for Birkdale Place, an upcoming shopping development on the south side of N.C. Highway 73 — across from Birkdale Village, joining a Napa restaurant and Caribou Coffee, according to Charlotte Business Journal. TD Bank and Salon Lofts have also been announced for the development, encompassing 15.6 acres. Tenants are expected to receive the keys to their spaces in Summer 2024.

The salad-focused eatery has a changing menu based on the season. On top of having a variety of delicious salads, wraps, drinks, and snacks, the restaurant also has a handful of seasonal options, including the Serrano Heatwave Bowl, the Spicy Jalapeno Goddess Salad and the Spicy Japeneno Goddess Wrap, made with panko fried chicken, fresh radish, black beans, spicy pickled vegetables, cotija cheese, tortilla chips, scallions, romaine, and cabbage & cilantro blend. Chopt will be the area’s go-to option for healthy meals.

“From classic cravings to seasonal collaborations, we challenge ourselves to create a menu that celebrates flavors from around the world and opens up a seat at the table for anyone who wants to join,” according to the company’s website. “We commit ourselves to a better process, start to finish. That means buying local produce and developing relationships with farmers along the way. It means seeking out unique artisans from around the world. And it means giving you a better tasting, better quality experience.”
