Comal Taco Co. Opens In Optimist Hall

The new taco joint takes over the former Marina’s Tapas stall keeping Chef-Owner Andres Kaifer on as Chef Partner

Comal Taco Co., the fast casual taco joint that recently announced it will be joining Optimist Hall, officially opened its doors on Wednesday, December 3rd. Comal is owned and operated by Shang Skipper, with his good friend and beloved Charlotte chef, Andres Kaifer on board as Chef Partner. Guests can expect to dine on fresh, bold, Southwest flavors and bites including the stall’s signature dish, the cheese crisp which is an open-faced quesadilla that is crispier, flatter, and a little more indulgent than a traditional quesadilla.
