Condado Tacos is getting ready to take over Charlotte, recently opening a new location in Providence Crossing at 10706 Providence Road, Suite 300.

The company’s second area location is 4,500 square feet and will sit within The Promenade on Providence shopping center, according to Charlotte Business Journal. The Ohio-based restaurant first entered the market in May 2022 in South End. Now that a second location has officially opened, the company believes Charlotte has the potential for major growth. CEO Chris Artinian already has several letters of intent in the pipeline and can see up to five locations coming to the area.

“We just think Charlotte continues to be a dynamic market for us,” Artinian tells the Charlotte Business Journal. “It’s a great restaurant town and always has been. There’s no question in my mind we can absolutely double our footprint in Charlotte.”

While Condado Tacos has high hopes for Charlotte, the company has yet to officially secure a third location. Despite this, Charlotte has proven to be a successful market. Customers can expect fresh ingredients and house-made chips and dips like queso, guacamole, and other salsas. Popular menu items include the Korean BBQ pork taco called the Blue Dream and Lucy’s Dream, which features roasted chicken served in a firecracker shell. Condado also offers signature cocktails with specialty flavors.
