Dash In Food Stores has purchased a 3.3-acre outparcel at 9930 N. Tryon St., with plans to enter North Carolina through the Charlotte market, according to reporting by the Charlotte Business Journal.

Construction plans indicate plans for a Dash In store, as well as gas pumps and car wash.

Dash In is owned by the Wills Group, which operates several companies, including Dash In, car wash company Splash In and petroleum distribution network SMO Motor Fuels.

“We’re proud to be at the forefront of the convenience sector — providing convenient, on-the-go access to life’s essentials by having a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and lives,” the Wills Group website states.

Dash In operates as a convenience store but serves freshly made food items, including breakfast sandwiches, pastries, hot sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, wraps, burgers, and chicken wings and tenders.

“We believe in connecting people to real food with real flavor,” the Dash In website states. “At Dash In, taste isn’t sacrificed. We show you it’s possible to get fresh, delicious food at a convenience store. Dash In’s menu aims to showcase innovative, delicious twists on familiar foods and trending flavors made with the freshest ingredients for exceptional flavor.”

Dash In currently has more than 50 locations throughout Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. As of now, it is unclear when the Charlotte location is expected to open, but construction is still to come at the location.
