Dos Caminos, a Mexican restaurant concept launched initially in New York City, has opened its newest location in Uptown Charlotte at 601 S Tryon Street, Suite #135.
Known for its mix of traditional and contemporary Mexican cuisine, Dos Caminos now operates five locations, including three in Manhattan and one in Atlantic City. The restaurant’s name, Spanish for “two roads,” reflects its mission to honor traditional flavors while embracing modern interpretations. The menu features handmade tortillas, tacos, birria, mole-braised short ribs, enchiladas, and signature cocktails, including the Queen City Margarita and the Patron Tower.
Daniel Tejada serves as General Manager, bringing over a decade of experience in hospitality across Mexico and Latin America. He focuses on consistency and creating a guest-first experience. Executive Chef Francisco Recinos, originally from Guatemala, blends Mexican culinary training with a deep respect for ingredients and cultural heritage. Sales and Events Manager Kaeli Silver, a Los Angeles native with over ten years of experience in the industry, leads private dining and events with an emphasis on creating personalized and memorable experiences.
Dos Caminos is all about unforgettable flavors, lively vibes, and a fresh take on traditional Mexican cuisine. Charlotte’s energy, diversity, and momentum made it the perfect home for its next chapter. Since opening, Dos Caminos Charlotte has hosted regular guests, weekend events, and private gatherings. The location will continue its community programming this summer with tequila dinners, live music on Summer Fridays, and other events listed at doscaminos.com. Dos Caminos also announced plans to open a location in Atlanta later this year.
