Local baker Norma Zuniga is planning to roll out a new approach to Dulce Dreams Cafe. Zuniga will now operate Dulce Dreams Cafe in “La Conchis,” the brand’s new van.
La Conchis will have a permanent location at The Village Collective during weekdays and will be mobile during the weekends, according to reporting by the Charlotte Observer. The Village Collective, located at 2117 Commonwealth Ave., features a variety of retail offerings.
In a recent social media message introducing the van, Zuniga shared that the menu will feature cafe de olla, aguas frescas, Mexican chocolate and matcha in addition to usual baked good offerings such as Mexican sweet bread.
Zuniga shared that the process will take time as she rolls out the new mobile bakery. Zuniga also plans to use the van for events.
