Epic Chophouse, the steak and seafood specialist found in the Carolinas, is getting ready to have a big year, including a new location in Greensboro at 301-F Pisgah Church Road.

The company is getting closer to opening its newest location in the Village at North Elm in Greensboro. Co-owner Rick Mack tells What Now Charlotte that this site will open in the first quarter of 2024. After this, the company will shift its focus to its fourth location in Raleigh, opening in Summer 2024. These openings were delayed because of a kitchen fire that temporarily closed the Epic Chophouse in Mooresville, which is also expected to reopen in the new year.

The company debuted in 2010 on Main Street in downtown Mooresville. Co-owners Rick Mack and Larry Sonaugle have enlisted Ken Higgins as a partner who is now the company’s Director of Operations. Kurt Swearingen, General Manager of Ft Mill, was made a partner in the Ft Mill location and has also been elevated to a firm-wide Operations role. When the two new locations open and the company’s original site reopens next year, customers can expect a variety of delicious steaks, pork chops, seafood, and other entrees, plus several delicious cocktails. Mack tells What Now Epic Chophouse continues to search for new and exciting sites around the Carolinas and East Coast.

“With our success in Mooresville, we couldn’t resist spreading the joy down south to Fort Mill, SC,” according to the company’s website. “Now, brace yourselves because Greensboro, NC, you’re up next! We’re heading your way to bring our unique mix of history, fantastic service, and mouthwatering food to delight your taste buds.”
