Fare & Fellow, a new Durham coffee shop and restaurant, has plans to open a third location in the Iron Works development in early 2025, according to the company’s website.

But first, Fare & Fellow will open a second location in August 2024 in Downtown Durham, at 411 W Chapel Hill St.

Fare & Fellow describes itself on its website as “a cozy spot in NC, where you can enjoy a cup of your favorite coffee with your go-to barista, indulge in chef-inspired Fares, and cozy up for heartwarming conversation with your favorite Fellows.” The coffee shop is known for serving coffee and “handcrafted fares,” providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for patrons.

Owners Lindsey and Nick Gresock secured a lease for the 2,000 square-foot Iron Works space in June, Triangle Business Journal (TBJ) is reporting.

“We’ve been in talks with them for a little over a year now, and ultimately ended up coming to really good terms with them,” Lindsey Gresock told TBJ.

In addition to its coffee options, whose beans will come by way of a local roaster, Fare & Fellows’ menu offers sandwiches, avocado toast, and smoothie bowls, with allergy and dietary preference options available.
