After serving the community through a food truck, the owner of King of Fire is getting ready to open a new brick-and-mortar in Clover at 117 N. Main St.

Owner and Chef Siler Chapman could be considered a pizza expert at this point, having won the World Pizza Champion three times and has appeared on the Food Network, Today, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Steve Harvey Show, and Good Morning America. When the accomplished chef is not on TV, he runs the King of Fire food truck. Now, the popular food truck owner is getting ready to open a storefront in mid-2024, according to Visit York County.

When the restaurant opens later this year, customers can expect a variety of wood-fired pizzas that are made fresh when ordered. Last year, the company introduced a new menu, offering ten different 10″ pizza options ranging between $10 and $13. An example of the delicious, creative options found here is the Hardy Pickle Pizza, made with breaded chicken, bacon, dill pickles, and drizzled with a garlic dill ranch sauce. Other options include the Honey Pie, made with a honey topping, the New Yorker with ricotta dollops, and Si’s Special, made with ranch, breaded chicken, and buffalo sauce.

This won’t be the first restaurant for Chapman, who, with the help of his family, opened Si’s Pizzeria in Fort Mill. He grew Si’s Pizzeria to three locations in North and South Carolina. The pizzerias were full service with 100+ seats, delivery, and take-out. The new brick-and-mortar will move into a busy area of downtown Clover, sitting near the area’s only other pizza option, The Pizza Man.
