Texas-based La La Land Kind Cafe is heading to Charlotte. It will open at 1930 Camden Road in the former Bitty & Beau’s space, according to reporting by the Charlotte Business Journal.

The brand launched in Dallas in 2019, helmed by founder and CEO Francois Reihani, as a brick-and-mortar evolution of La La Foundation. The foundation aims to support foster youth and individuals in need, and La La Land Kind Cafe provided a platform for paid internships for those transitioning out of the foster care system.

Now, La La Land has expanded to locations in Texas, California, Arizona and Tennessee.

The brand’s goal is to “give you a genuine sense of joy,” according to the website. The menu features signature drinks such as the upsidedown latte, the lavender bloom and the French toast latte. They also offer toasts such as truffle burrata and avocado toast.

An opening timeline in Charlotte has not been announced.
