Little Alley Steak, considered one of the best steakhouses in America, is expanding beyond Georgia, with a new location coming to Uptown at 650 S Tryon St.

The company’s third site will move into the Legacy Union building, according to Jason Thomas. What Now Atlanta previously announced that partners Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac of F&H Food Trading Group would open the company’s second location in Buckhead in the former home of Aja. The group is now ready to expand beyond the Atlanta area for the first time, along with its flagship site in Roswell.

This will be the second time the company has teased coming to Charlotte. Back in early 2020, Little Alley Steak announced it was opening a new 8,600-square-foot restaurant in Uptown’s Hearst Tower, promising a floor-to-ceiling wine room, private dining areas, and an outdoor patio, according to the Charlotte Observer. One can only assume these plans were scrapped in part due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now that the industry is settling back into its grooves, Little Alley Steak is officially making its way to Charlotte. When the restaurant opens either later this year or early next year, customers can expect cuts of 100 percent Black Angus beef, aged cuts of meat, including the 28-day-aged barrel-cut filet or 45-day-aged bone-in New York strips, and a handful of seafood options and a charcuterie program. As for drinks, the restaurant offers over 100 bourbons and an extensive wine list, as well as other alcoholic options.
