KHP Capital Partners and food and beverage partner Built on Hospitality have unveiled plans for multiple food and beverage outlets at The Beckworth, a boutique hotel expected to open in late 2026 at 212 South Tryon in Uptown Charlotte. In addition to plans for two unique restaurant concepts and a rooftop bar, the team has shared plans for a fourth element — a lobby bar.

The team has not revealed the name of the bar, and details regarding the offerings for any of the food and beverage concepts are still to come.

The hotel, which will feature 240 rooms as well as event and meeting spaces, has been under development since late 2024 in the historic Johnston Building. It is expected to open following the restoration in late 2026, bringing a new hotel destination to the Uptown Charlotte community.

Built on Hospitality will manage all the on-site food and beverage elements. The team, headed by Chris Coleman, Sean Potter and A.J. Klenk, is not new to the Charlotte culinary scene. They are behind well-known local spots including The Goodyear House, Old Town Kitchen & Cocktails, Folia and Chief’s Modern Cocktail Parlor.

Expect to see further details as The Beckworth nears opening.
