B&K Tea Cafe, a locally owned bubble tea chain with locations throughout the greater Charlotte area, is developing a new site in Huntersville at 14231 Market Square Dr, Unit C1.

The company’s fourth location is set to open within the shopping plaza anchored by Publix Super Market at Market Square, according to an announcement the owners made on social media last month. Owners Bobby Cain and Kristen Compton expect to open the new B&K Tea Cafe in late April or early May, offering various bubble tea options and ice cream mochi. The fast-casual eatery currently operates from Kannapolis, Concord, and Mooresville.

These expansion plans are impressive, considering the young business owners opened their first brick-and-mortar location in Concord in May 2022. Less than two years after opening its first location, the duo are getting ready to open their fourth location. When it opens, customers can expect a handful of delicious boba flavors, such as Strawberry Milk Tea, Tiger Milk Tea, Peach Oolong, Lovely Lychee, and Mango Madness.

“B&K Tea Cafe was established on the basics of quality, efficiency, and consistency,” according to the company’s website. “B&K uses the highest quality syrups, tea leaves, and powders for every hand-crafted bubble tea. We pride ourselves in our passion and make it our goal to exceed our customers’ expectations. B&K and its staff are determined to provide a positive experience by ensuring a quick, friendly visit every time. We at B&K Tea Cafe are a locally owned and operated business that hopes to serve you soon.”
