Not a Damn Chance (NADC) Burger is preparing to enter the Charlotte market as the burger phenomenon charts growth in multiple U.S. metropolitan areas. The Texas-based burger spot is heading to The Alley at Latta Arcade, with plans to open this fall, according to the Charlotte Observer.
NADC Burger is a collaboration between professional skater Neen Williams and Michelin-recognized chef Phillip Frankland Lee. The brand started with a mission to make the perfect burger and launched in Austin in 2022. Now, the burger spot is serving “one burger, one way” in New York City, Denver, Las Vegas, Dallas, Austin, Chicago and Fort Worth, with a total of nine locations now open.
The burger that made the brand includes a double patty of 100% Wagyu beef, American cheese, secret sauce, onions, pickles and jalapeños. Aside from that, the simple menu includes fries with a side of chipotle peppered ketchup or “beast mode” fries topped with cheese, diced pickles, jalapeños, special sauce and seasonings.
There is also a burger option for kids.
Lee is behind Scratch Restaurants, a group he has operated alongside his wife since 2013. In addition to NADC Burger, the portfolio includes Sushi by Scratch Restaurants, which has multiple locations across the country, and Pasta Bar, which has locations in Los Angeles and Austin.
NADC Burger is entering other markets, as well, including Nashville.
