Charlotte-based Night Swim Coffee is opening a new cafe in South End, on the ground floor of Linea, a 24-story tower at 2161 Hawkins St.

The company’s sixth location will open in late 2024, joining several other businesses, such as Bar One South End and True Food Kitchen, at the base of the mixed-use development, according to Charlotte Business Journal. This coffee shop will be the go-to destination for the residents of the 370 luxury residential units. Night Swim Coffee has one roastery and cafe in Charlotte, with additional sites in Oakhurst, Bank of America Towner, One Wells Fargo, and Optimism Park.

The company is a unified venture for Not Just Coffee and Undercurrent Coffee from founders Miracle and James Yoder and Erin and Todd Huber. The four decided they could do more good together than apart. Now, under Night Swim Coffee, they offer a simple single-origin coffee menu, along with a handful of food options, such as avocado toast, parfait, peanut butter and banana toast, a breakfast sandwich, and more.

“In our cafes, Night Swim Coffee offers the same thoughtfully prepared food and beverages, attention to detail, and hospitable atmosphere that is enjoyed in the legacy Not Just Coffee and Undercurrent Coffee cafes, but in a setting designed in a collaborative effort across the team to create a unique experience at every location.,” according to the company’s website.
