Coffee and home goods store Nostalgia Hollow Co. is working on a new concept called Lottie’s Cafe, located at 219 E. Trade St.

The new 1,900-square-foot eating concept will move into the Queen City Quarter, formerly known as the EpiCentre, hopefully by September 2023, according to owner Ashley Hines. She and Yolanda Thompson operate Nostalgia Hollow Company in Kannapolis, which is also home to the company’s first eating concept, Sullivan’s Buttery. Now the company is opening a second outpost for the home goods, as well as a space for Lottie’s Cafe. Customers can expect coffee and pastries, like its predecessor, but also more food options and cocktails in the evening.

“We will feature signature specialty coffees from our sister location Sullivan’s Buttery, but we plan to expand our food options and will add cocktails and small bites for evening options,” according to the concept’s Instagram. “We spent a lot of time dining and being entertained at the former Epicenter. We are thrilled to be a part of its new story.”

Some specialty coffees from Sullivan’s Buttery include classic coffee options, as well as a superfood latte, specialty latte, and fresh squeezed lemonade. The new Lottie’s Cafe is expected to offer much more eating options than its sister concept, which only serves donuts, cinnamon rolls, and croissants. In addition to the new eating and drinking options, the space will also feature space in the back for events. All of the company’s products can be ordered online as well.
