After its popular debut in Fort Mill, S.C., the local restaurant group behind Super Chix is getting ready to open a new location in Ballantyne at 7828 Rea Road, Suite F.

Power Brands Hospitality Group is getting ready to open the restaurant’s third area location at Stone Crest at Piper Glen in mid-October 2023, according to the Charlotte Observer. While the company has 25 locations nationwide, PBHG debuted the concept in Alabama before eventually expanding to Brayden Village in Fort Mill in 2021. Super Chix plans to open six more locations, including one in Boiling Springs, SC.

“The community has embraced us … it’s been a great relationship for us,” Todd Gallinek, who owns the restaurants with partner Deepen Patel, tells the Observer.

When the new Super Chix opens next month, customers can choose from fried chicken or grilled chicken, either alone or as one of the restaurant’s many sandwiches, including Nashville Hot, Cordon Bleu, and Bacavo Ranch. For sides, the restaurants offer loaded fries, fried pickles, or coleslaw. Super Chix also offers a handful of salad options. Those who don’t want to wait can visit the Fort Mill location at 810 Brayden Pkwy or a site in Indian Land, which opened last year in RedStone at 9700 RedStone Drive, Suite 100. PBHG is also opening a new Super Chix in Hoover, AL, sometime next year.

“We are delighted to be working with so many interested franchise development groups who have significant experience and background in the high-end, counter-casual dining market,” Super Chix CEO Darryl Neider said last year. “Everyone who visits our newly-branded restaurants, samples our food, and experiences our concept wants to get involved with Super Chix.
