Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen is getting ready to expand within Charlotte, opening a new location in Ballantyne at 15110 Bowl Street, Suite 101.

The company’s fourth location will move into The Bowl at Ballantyne, a new 20-acre development featuring more than 90,000 square feet of retail space, according to Charlotte Observer. Owner Jim Noble hopes to open this location in Spring 2024, along with several other new businesses recently announced for the project. Atlanta’s Honeysuckle Gelato is set to open in the area around the same time, following a new Drybar hair salon opening in late 2024.

Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen operates under Noble Food and Pursuits, which owns several other businesses, such as Noble Smoke Barbeque and Bossy Beulah’s Chicken Shack. The restaurant currently has locations in Uptown, Southpark, and Winson-Salem. When the new Rooster’s opens next year, customers can expect a seasonally-inspired menu with plenty to choose from. Both lunch and dinner menus are divided into various options from the garden, pasture, pantry, and sea. The restaurant also offers pizza, market sides, and signature sides.

“We source the finest our region has to offer but also push the boundaries by working in concert with our growers to cultivate specialty crops and heirloom varieties exclusively for our restaurants,” according to the company’s website. “Farmers like Elliot Seldner and Emma Hendel from Fair Share Farm grow lettuces for our salads and various other unique vegetables.”

This will be a perfect location for the company’s newest site. The bowl at Ballantyne will feature a mix of restaurants and retailers and a second apartment tower, all of which will attract plenty of foot traffic toward the new restaurant. Other businesses announced for the development include Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Summit Coffee, and First Watch.
