Raleigh-based Diced Salads is planning to widen their footprint in the Triangle, this time expanding to Holly Springs. It will open in a 3,050-square-foot space at 321 N. Main St., according to the Triangle Business Journal.

The fast-casual salad chain will take over a space formerly home to Pizza Hut, with plans for both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Michelle Woodward launched Diced in 2015 in Cary with the goal to create a healthy fast-casual brand. She was inspired by her past as a college athlete, when she realized that there were few options for high-quality and healthy fast food.

“The Holly Springs community made it clear this was the next place to be, and we’re grateful to have such a big fan base there already,” Woodward told the Business Journal.

The menu features items made fresh every day, cooked in 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It serves salads, wraps and grain bowls, including fan-favorite salads like the Southwest Crunch, the Spicy Thai and The Cobb.

What Now Charlotte reached out for comment from the Diced team but had not heard back by the time of publication.
