Sixty Vines is getting ready to tap into the Carolinas with a new location coming to Charlotte’s South End at 1415 Vantage Park Drive, Suite 100.

The Dallas-based company plans to open an 8,000-square-foot concept with 60 wines on tap and vineyard-inspired food, according to Charlotte Business Journal. This will be Sixty Vine’s eighth location, following sites in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee, and is expected to open in late August 2023. When the company makes its Carolina debut, guests can expect shareable plates, such as charcuterie boards, and plenty of wine options.

“We look at Charlotte as one of the most up-and-coming cities in the country now,” Jeff Carcara, CEO of Sixty Vines, tells the Business Journal. “We always intended on getting to Charlotte — just maybe not as quickly as we all of the sudden are. Charlotte is a city that is proven to enjoy and drink wine.”

The design of this location will be minimalistic, warm, and clean, with the intention of transporting guests to the heart of the wine country. Much of the space is inspired by Napa Valley tasting rooms, with enough space for 350 people throughout the indoor-outdoor area. The space will also feature Sixty Vine’s signature rosemary candles to help set the mood.

To create an even more memorable experience, there will be several food options to complement the wine. Other shareable plates include fried chicken and caviar, blistered shishito peppers, pan-roasted mussels, and the Santa Maria tri-tip. The menu also features hand-tossed pizzas, pasta, seafood, steak, burgers, and more.

“Wherever there’s great wines, that’s where we’re taking the inspiration for the food from,” Carcara says.
