Smoothie and juice shop OrganicAF is charting an expansion to Greensboro. The team is planning to open its second location at 3900 West Market Street later this year.

Owners Samer and Khalad Isa and Khaleel Kateeb currently have one shop at 120 W. Lexington Ave. in High Point, which they opened in 2017.

Samer told What Now Charlotte that they are currently in the final stages of preparing the shop and are awaiting inspections, which will ultimately determine when they are able to open.

The menu will remain the same as the current spot in High Point, featuring organic fresh pressed juice, organic smoothies and nut milks. Recently, Samer said they also made the decision to add non-organic smoothies to the menu, which will still use organic produce but are not 100% organic.

“The younger crowd who came into our location in High Point were concerned about why it wasn’t sweet enough because if you go to a lot of other smoothie shops, their smoothies are a lot sweeter because they use artificial sweeteners,” Samer said. “We don’t use any artificial sweeteners, but we do add frozen yogurts and sorbets into our fresh smoothies.”

Most of their products end with “AF,” signifying that the ingredients are “always fresh.”

The team’s Greensboro expansion will not stop here. Samer said they have two more locations they plan to open next year in the Greensboro market. They are aiming to expand quickly to enhance their brand recognition.

As of now, Samer declined to provide information about the exact locations for future sites.
