Cook Out is expanding across North Carolina, with spots heading to the Charlotte area and beyond. Now, it has a new location listed as “coming soon” on its website in the Triangle, with plans to open at 1206 North Arendell Ave. in Zebulon.

Construction plans filed for the location earlier this year with the City of Zebulon indicate plans for a 4,700-square-foot restaurant and a drive-thru.

The fast-casual chain has been expanding throughout the state over the past couple years. There are multiple locations opening soon in the Charlotte region including spots on W. T. Harris Boulevard, Charlottetowne Avenue and Woodland Beaver Road. There is also a spot heading to Locust.

A new location is heading to Fayetteville, as well.

The Thomasville-based fast-casual chain has a classic American menu featuring burgers, fries, hot dogs and shakes. The brand has more than 350 locations and is spreading across the Southeast.

For now, an exact opening timeline for the new location heading to Zebulon remains unclear.
