Local acai chain Spoons is bringing a new concept to the Charlotte community. The Spoons team is branching out with their new concept Eden, slated to open soon as a flagship cafe and coffee bar at Carmel Commons, according to a recent Instagram announcement.
With the mantra “bowls and better,” Eden represents an expansion of the Spoons concept. It will continue to serve the same acai bowls, alongside expanded offerings made with healthy, clean ingredients.
The spot will feature Raw Coffee + Matcha from the Raw Crunch + Coffee brand. Menu items will include organic coffee, matcha and crepes in addition to the usual acai bowls and shakes offered at Spoons. Other offerings will include egg soufflés by Maple Meal Prep and protein bites from Raw Bites by Risa.
The brand places emphasis on producing healthy, tasty meals derived from superfoods. Spoons uses ingredients such as fresh fruit, natural spreads like almond butter and superfood powders.
The opening of Eden will mark a new era for Spoons, ushering it into a rebrand. Axios Charlotte reports that following the forthcoming opening of Eden’s flagship, existing Spoons locations in South End, Fort Mill, Cotswold Village and City Kitch will transition to the Eden brand. Each location will serve the same menu to varying degrees.
An exact timeline for the rebrand remains unclear.
