Following a successful opening in Indian Land in June, Swig has a second location listed as “coming soon” on its website. The dirty soda franchise is targeting Rock Hill for its second spot in the market, with plans to open at 2379 India Hook Rd.
Swig is taking a 700-square-foot space with a drive-thru at the address, joining the Warren Norman Company’s Sharonwood Shopping Center being developed at the corner of Celanese and India Hook Roads. Swig will be located in the first multi-tenant retail building in the development, according to an announcement on the Warren Norman Company’s website earlier this year.
The Utah-based dirty soda franchise has been sweeping across the nation, venturing into new markets such as Nashville earlier this year. Swig is known for its menu of unique soda flavors such as Life’s A Peach (Dr. Pepper, vanilla, peach and half & half), Dirty S.O.P. (Dr. Pepper, coconut and peach) and create-your-own dirty soda options.
Since its launch in 2010, Swig has expanded to more than 100 locations and more to come. While an exact opening timeline for the Rock Hill location has not been announced, the Warren Norman Company previously shared that construction was expected to start over the summer.
Once the Sharonwood Shopping Center is complete, it will feature four retail buildings, three multi-tenant buildings and one outparcel.
