Sycamore Brewing is gearing up for a major expansion, with plans for a large taproom and beer garden at Cotswold Village. The new location, expected to open in summer 2026, is expected to have 7,000 square feet of indoor space and an 11,000-square-foot beer garden, according to Axios Charlotte.

Sycamore Brewing has been teasing a new taproom for some time, announcing that they were looking for new spots in the Charlotte area back in 2023. Couple Sarah and Justin Brigham founded the company in 2013 and opened the South End taproom at The Line in 2023. It also has a location in Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and Sycamore is now the largest Charlotte-born brewery, according to its website.

Sycamore offers a food menu of salads, pizzas, burgers and sandwiches at its South End location in addition to draft beers, cocktails and wine. The space is also used for events.

Customers can expect an expanded food menu at the taproom in Cotswold Village, as well as table service and live music, according to reporting by Axios.

Construction is still to come for the space, and it is expected to be a lengthy buildout process.
