Sycamore Brewing is planning to open a new taproom location in 2025. The company is in talks with multiple developers and plans to officially sign a lease within the next six months, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

While the company has not released information on potential locations in the Charlotte area or a detailed timeline, the brewing company is set on a 2025 opening.

Sycamore Brewing has two existing locations in the Charlotte area: Southend Taproom and Beer Garden at 2151 Hawkins Street and a taproom in Terminal E at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The taproom at South End is the brewery’s more expansive location, featuring a taproom, beer garden, food truck and cafe across its more than 21,000 square feet.

The taprooms feature menus with a variety of beers on tap, as well as cocktails and wine. The menu also includes pizza, sandwiches, burgers, salads and appetizers.

Couple Sarah and Justin Brigham began brewing Sycamore beer in 2013. Now, it is the largest brewery to be based in Charlotte. They also distribute their beer to retail stores across seven states.

What Now Charlotte has reached out to Sycamore Brewing for more information on the team’s plans for an upcoming expansion but has yet to receive a response. Stay tuned for updates on Sycamore Brewing’s new location plans.
