Texas Roadhouse has a new restaurant on the way to the Triangle. The brand is bringing a steakhouse to 5340 McFarland Drive at Patterson Place shopping center, with plans to demolish and replace a building with a 7,649-square-foot restaurant, according to reporting by the Triangle Business Journal. The space formerly belonged to Applebee’s.
Existing locations in North Carolina include Aberdeen, Holly Springs, Burlington, Fayetteville, Greensboro, High Point, Wake Forest, Salisbury and Winston-Salem. There is also an existing location in Durham.
Texas Roadhouse operates approximately 800 locations in the U.S. as well as several spots outside of the U.S. The brand is known for steaks, ribs, country dinners, burgers and sandwiches. Beverage offerings include cocktails, beer, wine and margaritas.
Subsidiary brand Jaggers is also expanding in the state, with a new location heading to the Triangle.
Details regarding the opening timeline for the new Texas Roadhouse remain unclear at this time.
