Family-owned Thai Thai Cafe is bringing authentic Thai food to Mooresville soon, with plans to open later this month. The restaurant has been documenting its construction at 260 S Main Street, and it recently announced that it is hiring.
The restaurant describes itself as “more than just a place to eat” and “a family sharing the rich traditions and flavors of our Thai heritage” on its Instagram page.
“We’ve been pouring love, sweat, and spicy dreams into every detail… and we’re almost ready to open the doors,” the owners announced in a recent update post.
Operations manager Eddie Gluck told What Now Charlotte that the entire 1,800-square-foot space was renovated, in addition to exterior renovations and landscaping.
“We updated it,” Gluck said. “We brought it into the 21st century. It was stuck in the ’80s.”
When the spot opens up, customers can expect authentic Thai food crafted from family recipes. Expect pad Thai, red curry, crispy duck, noodle dishes, homemade appetizers and more. Gluck said that all the sauces are homemade, as well.
“[I’m most looking forward to] bringing fresh, authentic Thai food to downtown Mooresville and meeting everybody,” Gluck said.
Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily for lunch Monday through Friday, as well as 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday with hours extended to 9:30 on Fridays. On Saturdays, Thai Thai Cafe will be open all day from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
