Three Count Brewing, a brand new company from two longtime friends, is preparing to open its doors in Rock Hill at 148 S Cherry Rd.

This is the latest from Taylor Hamrick and Nate Mallard, who were brewing and drinking beer together in college back in 2008, according to the company’s website. Since then, they have taken the time to learn all about grain, hops, and yeast. The duo now plans to transform a 3,200-square-foot space into a lively brewery experience, expected to open in Summer 2025. When it opens, customers can expect a 10-barrel brewery that is wrestling-themed.

This location will be excellent for the company’s debut. It is near several parks, restaurants, and Winthrop University. Its central location will also make it an excellent choice for anyone visiting the popular Cherry Road, which features plenty of other food and drink options. With breweries slowly becoming the new go-to hangout spot, college students and residents will find Three Count Brewing an excellent place to kick back and enjoy some delicious beer, which the owners are very serious about.

“We love our beers,” according to the company’s website. “That is why we want to tell you everything you could ever want to know about them and then some so you can love our beers too. Want to make our beers at home? Want to know what makes that one beer you love so much special? Check out all of the details of our recipes. Want to know exactly when we brewed the beer you’re having right now? Check out every batch of beer we’ve ever brewed.”
