Toastique in South End, which closed last year, is reopening with a new ownership team. The new owners will open in the space at 1120 S. Tryon St. at Vantage South End this month, according to a recent announcement from Toastique.

Toastique offers gourmet toasts, smoothie bowls, cold-pressed juices and craft coffee. Menu items include Avocado Smash Toast, Smoked Salmon Toast and the Green Machine Smoothie.

The Fit and Fresh Corp. is the new owner for the spot, which is the only Toastique location in Charlotte. Fit and Fresh operates in the Charlotte and Dallas area and is looking to expand Toastique in both markets, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

Erronta Brown is the registered agent on file for Fit and Fresh, according to North Carolina business filings.

Brianna O’Keefe founded Toastique in 2018 and it now has dozens of locations throughout the country.

Toastique also opened a location in Raleigh — the only other North Carolina location for the brand — last year. That spot is under different ownership.
