Trophy Brewing is expanding in downtown Raleigh with several concepts in the pipeline.

The company is opening a new neighborhood bar concept called The Bend Bar this weekend in downtown Raleigh at 853 W. Morgan St., but that is not all it has in store for the property. Trophy Brewing will also bring its concept State of Beer to the property in early 2025, according to Axios Raleigh.

The Bend Bar will occupy one of three bungalows at the spot on West Morgan Street, and State of Beer will go into one of the other bungalows at the site. It appears that the spot is currently under renovation.

State of Beer has one other location in Raleigh. The bottle and sandwich shop serves both beer and food. The Trophy Brewing website describes the spot as “Downtown Raleigh’s destination for a curated collection of incredible beers, gourmet sandwiches and hearty salads.”

Trophy Brewing started in 2013 and now has two locations and three sister concepts, including State of Beer, private event venue Maywood Hall & Garden and private event venue Young Hearts Distilling. Owners David Meeker, Chris Powers, Woody Lockwood, Les Stewart and Rebecca Couch also appear to have a couple more locations in the pipeline for the brewery coming in 2025, according to the website.
