Twin Peaks, a national sports-themed restaurant with an existing location in Concord, is getting ready to expand south with a new site in Fort Mill at 992 Cabelas Drive.

This is the latest location from Music City Consulting, which signed a multi-unit franchise agreement in 2022 to open eight Twin Peaks across the state, including sites in Charlotte, Durham, Fayetteville, and Raleigh, aiming to open one unit a year. This will be the second Twin Peaks in the greater Charlotte area and the fourth in the state, with sites in Jacksonville, and Winston-Salem. The new Fort Mill site will open in Summer 2024, according to Charlotte Business Journal.

“Twin Peaks restaurant enriches the Charlotte/Fort Mill market with its distinctive mountain-lodge ambiance, offering patrons a unique blend of comfort, unmatched hospitality, and sports-centric entertainment in a setting that sets it apart from other dining experiences,” Hummel tells Charlotte Business Journal. “We are currently in the north Charlotte market but believe the density of the city can hold a second location. Adding the second location will make it more attainable for the whole city to enjoy our brand.”

Music City Consulting is a seasoned business and restaurant consultant with members who have successfully operated restaurants across North Carolina. The group will bring the sports lodge to Fort Mill, offering a handful of shareable appetizers, delicious lunch and dinner options, and hearty entrees, such as sirloin steak, sweet n’ smoky ribs, and mom’s pot roast. Twin Peaks was founded in 2005 in the Dallas suburb of Lewisville, Texas, and is approaching 115 locations in the U.S. and Mexico.

“We’re excited to partner with Music City Consulting and grow our presence in North Carolina,” Hummel said at the time of the franchise agreement signing. “Music City Consulting brings area expertise that we look for in new franchisees, and we can’t wait to bring our ultimate sports lodge experience to more communities in North Carolina. Twin Peaks will make sure that Hornets, Hurricanes, Panthers, and local college fans won’t miss a second of their beloved teams’ games.”
