Uptown Cabaret, the adult entertainment venue with food options at 108 East Morehead Street, has announced it will reopen next year following its closure.

Earlier this year, Uptown Cabaret closed down for good after construction crews broke ground in June on a $700 million high-rise development. It was unclear if owner Brian Dominick would reopen elsewhere, but now the company has announced a new location opening in 2024, according to its website. On top of the entertainment, Uptown Cabaret offers a well-stocked bar and grille with plenty of different food and drink options, including steak, pasta, and more.

The exact location and area of the new Uptown Cabaret is unknown, but it will continue to serve these delicious entrees, including its late-night breakfast buffet that is open for all on Fridays and Saturdays from 1 am to 3 am. On top of the occasionally offered specials, Uptown Cabaret features everything from appetizers and salads to entrees and desserts, all at a reasonable price. For example, customers can get a 6oz filet mignon for $12.

Uptown Cabaret was forced to relocate after Chicago-based developer Riverside Investment and Development began working on Queensbridge Collective at 1111 S. Tryon St. — between South End and uptown. The 3-acre project includes a 42-story apartment tower with 409 units and a 35-story office tower. Dominick, who also owns Midnight Diner, opened Uptown Cabaret in 1995 and had its official closing after July 1, according to Charlotte Observer.
