A new vintage shop is planning to open later this year. Karrie Kimsey is looking to bring her new concept UrbanGypsy & Co. to Concord

UrbanGypsy will combine several concepts into one. It will serve as a vintage store, a coffee shop and a self-care center featuring spa suites, according to the website. The vintage store will offer products like vintage goods, furniture, clothing and home decor.

Kimsey originally planned to open in Uptown Lexington, but when plans fell through on the location there, she pivoted. Now, she is aiming to finalize an exact location in Concord by the end of the month. In an email to What Now Charlotte, Kimsey said she is hoping to start buildout on the new space by Sept. 1 and to have a grand opening on Nov. 8.

“More than just a vintage store, we’re your destination for home and happiness,” the website states. “Discover unique clothing, home accents and furniture. Indulge in self-care at our coffee shop and spa suites. Join us in celebrating nostalgia and creativity in a truly unique space.”

Expect more details to come out as she grows closer to opening. Follow along on the UrbanGypsy & Co. Facebook page for more updates.
