Local neighborhood restaurant Wing King Cafe is getting ready to open a new location in Indian Land at 8356 Charlotte Hwy.
The popular chicken wing restaurant recently announced on social media the company’s third location will be coming to the Publix shopping center at the end of Dobys Bridge Road, according to The Herald. Director of Operations Ronda Hice tells What Now Charlotte that the company hopes to open the new location in early September 2023. The new Wing King Cafe will sit across from Indian Land Middle School.
While customers will have to wait a few months before seeing the new chicken wing restaurant in Indian Land, the restaurant recently announced it is adding a few more items to the menu in Charlotte and Fort Mill locations. Zane Tolbert, assistant manager at the Fort Mill location, tells the Herald the changes include recent variations the restaurant tried out and decided to keep after customer feedback. Wing King Cafe already offers dozens of wings options with more than 40 sauce options.
The announcement also mentions the company will have specials for all of May, which includes deals on pimento cheese dip, jalapeno poppers, chicken & waffles, and more. Wing King also offers salads, burgers, sandwiches, cheesesteaks, seafood, and desserts. While the restaurant has several food and drink options, it takes pride in its wing selection, which includes a monthly featured sauce. This month’s featured sauce is the spicy balsamic glaze.
