A Winston-Salem family is expanding their footprint in the hospitality industry. Husband-and-son team Tom and Brandon Brock, the owners behind Sage & Salt and Tuscani in Winston-Salem, are planning to add a third concept to the community. They plan to open a deli and market in early 2026 next to Tuscani, serving burgers, sandwiches and salads, according to the Triad Business Journal.
Brock confirmed the forthcoming concept in a phone call with What Now Charlotte.
The Brocks opened Sage & Salt in 2023, offering menu items like charcuterie, rack of lamb, chicken parmesan and grilled shrimp pasta.
The team followed their restaurant debut with the opening of Tuscani in early September, offering Italian cuisine ranging from freshly made pasta dishes to entrees like ribeye, prosciutto wrapped prawns and truffle macaroni and cheese.
“At Tuscani by Sage & Salt, we believe food should be more than just a meal – it should be an experience,” the Tuscani website states. “Located in the heart of Winston-Salem, we blend timeless recipes with fresh, local ingredients to create dishes that are both comforting and refined. Our mission is to provide a welcoming space where family, friends, and colleagues can gather to share unforgettable meals.”
The forthcoming spot slated to go into the space beside Tuscani at 450 North Patterson Ave. is expected to be significantly different in terms of concept from both Sage & Salt and Tuscani.
