A Winston-Salem restaurant that fuses Japanese and Peruvian cuisine is making its way to Charlotte. Sushi Rosé announced last month on Instagram that it is planning a location in Charlotte, with plans to open in spring 2026.

The Winston-Salem location, which opened last year, features traditional sushi rolls with a distinctly Peruvian element as well as small plates. There is also a beverage program featuring signature cocktails.

“At Sushi Rosé, we take pride in being the premier Japanese Peruvian sushi cocktail lounge in the area,” the website states. “Our menu is a celebration of these rich culinary traditions, carefully crafted to bring out the best of both worlds. From traditional sushi rolls with a Peruvian twist to innovative small plates bursting with flavor, each dish is a work of art.”

The brand offers a modern design with a lounge. While design details for the Charlotte location have not been announced, it will likely reflect the contemporary design of the brand.

Nevin and Karen Anuran and Ben Cerna are part of the ownership team behind Sushi Rosé. They also own Melrose Coffee in the Triad area. Katrina and Jay Capistrano also serve as partners in the business.

A representative with the team confirmed the forthcoming location in a message with What Now Charlotte. Information regarding the space and the exact address could not be obtained prior to publication, but stay tuned for updates.
