Chicago will soon welcome a new restaurant, Doll’s Kitchen, from Chef Chimere Finley. Finley has been operating Doll’s Kitchen & Catering since late 2020, according to an LLC filing, and on December 30th 2021, she made an exciting announcement over social media.
Earlier in the month she’d signed a lease to open Doll’s Kitchen’s very first brick-and-mortar. While she hasn’t yet shared exactly where Doll’s will debut, lease intel obtained by What Now Chicago indicates the restaurant will likely open on S. Western Avenue.
Doll’s Kitchen is described as a family business grown out of love, and the eatery specializes in ‘southern favorites with our own flair.’ Recent bites highlighted on Doll’s Kitchen’s social media include Cajun pasta with shrimp, chicken, and andouille sausage; Blackened Salmon Sliders; Lamb Chops; and Crispy, Juicy, and Tender Baked Chicken.
Finley has been sharing updates on her brand’s social media, and according to a recent post, Ishmiel Raggs has been contracted for interior work to the restaurant space.
An opening date for Doll’s Kitchen has not been announced just yet, but you can follow along with updates by finding the soon-to-be brick-and-mortar online.
So excited for the grand opening of Doll’s Kitchen restaurant . Good food made with love!
