An Area Chick-fil-A Files Permit to Perform Interior and Exterior Renovations

The chicken chain has filed to perform renovations at one of its Columbus locations that are projected to cost $1 million.

As detailed in a recently filed permit, the Chick-fil-A restaurant located at 6240 E Broad St will soon see some interior and exterior renovations. Per language in the permit application, the renovation project consists of replacing countertops, replacing queueing rails, replacing ceilings and lighting in the dining area and restrooms, as well as refreshing the restrooms with new fixtures. The exterior work includes replacing awnings, light fixtures and signage.

According to the information found in the permit filing, the projected cost of this scope of work is set at $1 million. Further details, such as the anticipated time to complete the project once the work begins aren’t clear. What Now Columbus reached out to the location’s franchisee who serves as the owner and operator of the location, but the individual was unable to share any information about the project at this time.

Known for its menu staples such as its fried chicken sandwiches, nuggets and chicken strips, along with waffle fries and lemonade, the fast casual fast food chain also offers breakfast options, as well as wraps and salads.
