A local favorite blending bold flavors and community spirit is expanding once again. Blasian Grill, co-owned by Joe Russell and Kosal Long, is planning a new location in Obetz, following the success of its first brick-and-mortar restaurant at Orchard 38.

Originally founded as a food cart and food truck concept, Blasian Grill quickly built a loyal following across Central Ohio with its flavorful hibachi-style meals—including steak, chicken, shrimp, fried rice, and their signature yum-yum sauce. The brand’s combination of Japanese-inspired cooking and welcoming local energy has made it a go-to for fast, fresh, and satisfying meals.

With continued demand and community support, the upcoming Obetz location marks an exciting next step for the growing business. Though details on the opening timeline are still in development, fans can look forward to the same sizzling hibachi experience that made Blasian Grill a standout in Columbus’ food scene.
