According to a recent permit filing, the Bob Evans restaurant located at 4019 Hamilton Square Blvd, in Groveport, will be undergoing a few repairs to its existing exterior west entry, which was damaged from a vehicle impact.

Per language in the filing, the scope of the work is projected to cost $25,000 in order to reconstruct that portion of the restaurant to restore it back to its original condition before the incident. According to the filing, the work is limited to structural and cosmetic repairs, and the foundation and roof framing were not affected by the impact.

What Now Columbus reached out to Bob Evans to learn more information about the repairs and learned that the planned work should have no impact on the guests at this location.

“There are no planned closures, hours changes or customer service changes for this restaurant.  Once the permit is approved, the restaurant will remain open during the repairs,” Bob Holtcamp, president and chief marketing officer with the company, stated in an email communication with What Now Columbus.

The menu at the Ohio-based eatery focuses on homestyle meals, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Selections include pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sandwiches, burgers or hearty plates such as steak and seafood options, along with favorites like fried chicken.
