Another Original Pancake House is on its way to the Columbus area, according to a recent permit filing. The eatery will open at 6330 Dublin Granville Rd in the New Albany area, making it the third Original Pancake House to open in Columbus.

The location will be operated by Ruben Guzman, a franchisee who owns OPH of Columbus, LLC. Guzman currently owns and operates two Original Pancake House franchises in central Ohio, with restaurants in Upper Arlington and Westerville, and the New Albany location to be the third location for the franchisee.

Original Pancake House started serving up breakfast fare in 1953 in Portland, Oregon and has expanded to over 100 restaurants in 28 states across the U.S., according to information on its website. With a name like Original Pancake House, it’s no surprise that the menu features pancakes served a number of ways, from buttermilk style, to those made with buckwheat and sourdough, to ingredients mixed into the flapjacks, like bacon, fruit or nuts.

There are also items like crepes, waffles and French toast, as well as omelets made with meat, vegetables or cheese, served with a stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes.
