A recently filed permit shows that BrewDog has plans to open a new eatery in Columbus, located at 4600 International Gateway, inside the John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The information in the permit further details that the scope of the work is projected to cost $250,000.
Per the permit information, the work includes alterations to create a new bar space for the future home of BrewDog, as well as some work in the back of the house space, which the eatery will share with existing tenant Bob Evans.
BrewDog has locations throughout the U.S. as well as internationally, with locations in England, Germany, China, South Korea and Scotland, where the first brewery was formed in 2007. Currently, BrewDog has locations in Ohio that include Cincinnati, Cleveland and four in the greater Columbus area.
In 2017, Columbus had the distinction of becoming the home of the first BrewDog in the U.S. Some of the brewery’s most popular beers include Punk IPA, a West Coast style IPA, and Elvis Juice, a grapefruit infused IPA.
