What started as a food truck will soon be a full deli.

The owners of Briella’s have revealed their new brick-and-mortar is coming to 86 N Main Street in downtown Cedarville. Their food truck has been serving hot dogs for the community for the last few years. According to co-owner Steve Setzer, the restaurant will debut in either July or August.

“We wouldn’t be here without all your support over the years, and we’re excited to take this next step with all of you!!” Says the post from Briella’s.

Staff are early in the process of opening the new location as they are looking for funding options. The owners already have access to the building, they just need extra help getting the project off the ground. Setzer is debuting the restaurant with his wife, Cassie.

In the past, Briella’s has participated in Cedarville and Springfield community events including yoga in the park and games at Carleton Davidson Stadium, where the Champion City Kings baseball team plays. The business will also be serving food at Sidewalk Saturday on April 4 in downtown Cedarville.

The town, just east of Dayton, is home to Cedarville University and has a relatively small downtown. Concepts across the street from the upcoming deli include Orion Coffee and Tea, Church Street Cookies bakery and Beans-n-Cream coffee shop. The historic town hall is to the right of the building.

The Briella’s menu has not been released, but Steve said restaurant goers can expect sandwiches like a Maxwell Street Polish and corn beef on rye bread. As it gets closer to the opening, the team will be updating the community on their Facebook page.
